About Morris the Cat

Morris the Cat is an orange tabby tomcat. Before he made it big as a celebrity, Morris was a shelter cat living at the Humane Society in Hinsdale, Ill. One day, an animal talent scout named Bob Martwick met Morris and convinced him to audition to be the spokescat of 9Lives, a cat food brand. The rest is hisstorry!

Whether he’s starring in commercials or visiting schools, Morris is always working to advo-cat for animals in need. That makes him a perfect candidate for office!

If Morris’ pawlicies resonate with your furry friend, you can nominate your dog or cat to be chosen as Morris’ Vice President. The nomination period is open through mid-September.

Finalists will be chosen by 9Lives representatives based on the following criteria:
